Recipe Print Design

This was a hobby project that became a gift. My grandmother’s cornbread recipe was one of those that was never written down and required a demonstration (or two) to perfect.

I realized that if the best way to share the recipe is by demonstrating, then an illustration could work as well.

Note the inexact measurements of baking soda and milk, and the ‘heapin’ scoops of cornmeal.

The result is artwork for the kitchen, a handy reference for a favorite recipe, and a cherished keepsake.
